in winter..

.. it's like drinking black coffee trying to stay warm and keeping the cold out. the rain falls, the wind blows. some of you even get to see snow.

in autumn..

.. it's a backyard in the suburbs, and hundreds leaves covering the green grass.

in summer..

.. it's a night-time thing. out on the balcony (porch) with some beers and your friends.

in spring..

.. it's the hope for a brighter day.

Sam Shinazzi
Then I Held My Breath

Is This Music (Scotland)
By Matthew Shaw

‘Then I Held My Breath’ is the product of Sam Shinazzi, a singer-songwriter from Sydney. It’s his third album; Shinazzi aims for the everyman stance that lyricists like Bruce Springsteen have perfected over the years, where the desired effect for this style is for anyone to be able to connect with it. ‘Blue-Belle’ is a sweet lament and ‘Lil’ Wandering Soul’ is a respectable piece of folk-rock. And ‘Walking’ in which the Springsteen comparisons are extremely easy to make.
