in winter..

.. it's like drinking black coffee trying to stay warm and keeping the cold out. the rain falls, the wind blows. some of you even get to see snow.

in autumn..

.. it's a backyard in the suburbs, and hundreds leaves covering the green grass.

in summer..

.. it's a night-time thing. out on the balcony (porch) with some beers and your friends.

in spring..

.. it's the hope for a brighter day.

Sam Shinazzi, formerly of the c-minus project moniker, opens proceedings with his pretty, America-tinged song stories. An unassuming and experienced performer, Shinazzi has an ear for a vivid lyrical detail and can
write songs you look forward to getting to know. Wyoming and Scotty Come Home, both from his recently released Stories You Won't Believe record rank as standouts in a strong set. He ends with a creative reworking of Boys Don't Cry, one of the great songs by The Cure.
