The C-Minus Project
Long Drive Home
Before the awaited album coming in a month or two, the local Project offers up this, with the honest appraisal that it sounds nothing like what comes next, is the album. Thanks for that, coz I want to hear more like this. Simple lo-fi strumming with songs that have a low-key human feeling about them. The usual names should be namechecked here, like the boy Oldham and such. The tape was turning on in the loungeroom through on day, and what comes out is stuff for when the lights are not quite high enough wattage, and thus you can't see the cracks in the wall. Mr Shinazzi, a little gem.
